This report was reported to the Fact Finding Commission by Yang Toua Thao, one of the leaders of the United States Secret War veterans and their families that are trapped and being attacked and killed by the LPDR military forces in Xay Sombon Special Zone, Laos. Mr. Thao reported that the LPDR government and his military commanders have delivered machine guns to the following military encampments: 1. One 105 mm and 103 mm were stationed on the military encampment at Nam Pha Thao and Nam See Nin in Xay Sombon Special Zone. 2. One 120 mm was stationed on the military encampment at Pha Tong Kong in Xay Sombon Special Zone. 3. One 82 mm mortar was stationed on the military encampment at Pha Lek in Xay Sombon Special Zone. These military encampments have been firing those machine guns at the United States Secret War veterans and their families, and they can hardly find place to hide. They have no where to go and are waiting to be killed by the LPDR military forces and/or dead from starvation because they are surrounded and unable to get food from the jungles around them.
From November 30, 2004 to December 8, 2004, these military encampments have fired 360 rounds at the United States Secret War veterans and their families. Many people were wounded, and 12 people got killed: 1. Chue Moua 20 years old 2. Xeng Lee 25 years old 3. Ma Vang 06 years old 4. Lee Neng 12 years old 5. Kia Vang 06 years old 6. Nang Lee Yang 08 years old 7. Nang Soua Yang 04 years old 8. Nang Chou Yang 03 years old 9. Nang True Lee Her 08 years old 10. Nang Chao Her 14 years old 11. Nang Chia Her 06 years old 12. Yeng Lee 13 years old On December 9, 2004, LPDR government and his military commanders haved used helicopter to deliver more military forces and supplies to the following military encampments: 1. Hin Tang 2. Hoy Pa 3. Tham Lek 4. Tham Ter Oon 5. Hoy See Vin
Therefore, Mr. Thao is urging and requesting the Unite Nations, United States Congress, and Human Rights Organizations to intervene and stop the LPDR military movements and activities against his group and other groups throughout the country of Laos. Mr. Thao is requesting the international community to immediately put pressure to the LPDR government to withdraw his military forces out of the regions where the United States Secret War veterans and their families are hiding. They have no where to go, no place to hide, and no food to eat.
