11:05 AM local time Thai authorities are keeping the women and children in the buses parked in front of the detention center. No word yet as to where their final destination is going to be.
11:25 AM local time The women and children remained in the buses while the men locked themselves inside the cell.
12:20 PM local time An independent source confirmed that the women and children had not yet been transported out of the detention center. The women and children were loaded into the two buses pending to be transport out of the area. The men are still inside. UNHCR is now at the site. No word yet what exactly is happening.
1:00 PM local time The men remained in the cell. The men requested to speak to the UNHCR along with a Hmong interpreter. Thai authorities blocked UNHCR and the media from reaching the group of men and children who are still in their cell. The Thai authorities asked a Hmong by the name of Tong Seng Lor who was sent from the Lao PDR to talk to the group of Hmong men and children in the cell. Tong Seng Lor is among the delegation from Laos to take this group of Hmong back. Upon talking to the group of men, Tong Seng Lor threatening them that if they continue to refuse, further brutality will be use against them and bloodshed will be the conclusion. Tong Seng Lor gave the group 15 minutes to think about, and would return to get their answer.
15 Minute has gone by. Tong Seng Lor has returned. No word yet as to what will happen next.
1:20 PM local time Tong Seng Lor returned to talk to the group of Hmong. Tong Seng Lor told them they must return to Laos with him. The men refused. Tong Seng Lor threatened the men again that he will talk to the Thai authorities to use their maximum force to take the men out of the cell so he left.
1:35 PM local time The Thai police decided to get two Hmong women from the buses parked outside and had the two come back inside to convince the Hmong men. The men continued to refuse. Authorities then told the two Hmong women to return to the buses. One woman refused to return. Thai police again dragged the Hmong woman out of the detention center and threw her back into the bus. The number of Thai policemen had been increasing again in front of the cell. "It appears the Thai police will use their maximum force to take us out this time" said one of the victims.
2:15 PM local time More media groups are now present at the scene; especially foreigners who are there to publicize the event. Thai police has not allowed UNHCR inside the facility to talk to the group of Hmong men. No media access to the men yet. Thus far, only Thai Channel 5 was able to go upstair to document the men's holding position against the intruders - Thai police.
2:41 PM local time Thai police are unable to break in through the main cell door. They are working on a strategy to cut the cell from the opposite direction to get to the men. No word yet to what is happening now (2:51 PM).
3:00 PM local time No word yet as to what is happening between the Lao delegation and Thai authorities. The Hmong men maintain their strong post from being drag out of their cell.
