Kaitong told Ger Vang the FPDGL knows they won't be able to defeat the current Pathet Lao government regime at this time because of the presence of North Vietnamese troops in the country.  He identified Vietnamese construction workers and merchants who sell goods from one village to another as North Vietnamese military troops.

In an interview on October 21, 2003 Kaitong Phounsina speaking for the FPDGL claimed credit for three bombings on October 19, 2003.  In Vientiane, the Capital of Laos at about 10:00 p.m., two bombs were exploded about ten minutes apart.  The bombs exploded on Khouvieng Street at Khouang Ding area, Mouang Xeesaktanark, Vientiane province.  Two people were injured. According to the Kaitong after the explosion, the LPDR authorities closed the scene for investigation and no one was allowed to drive through or enter the premise.  Citizens who were in the area were told not to spread any information about the explosion to any foreigners and tourists

Earlier the same day at about 5:15 p.m., another bomb was exploded at Sanong Watthou Market, Mouang Khanthabouri, Savannaket province.  Reportedly two persons were killed, and about ten were injured.

Kaitong stated these two bomb explosions were planned and done by the FDPGL.  He stated the locations where the bombs exploded are a business zone where there are a lot of Vietnamese.  He stated the market place is filled with Vietnamese merchants, and the Vietnamese occupy all the food booths.  Kaitong stated the Lao people have no place to sell their goods.

On November 1, 2003 Ger Vang was again contacted by the FPDGL.  In that interview Kaitong reported that on October 31, 2003 at about 4:45 p.m., a bomb exploded at the popular monument-Anousavari or Patouxay, close to the governmental building where the LPDR government works, in Mouang Chantabouri, Vientiane Province.  He said that after the explosion, LPDR authorities closed the scene for investigation and no one was allowed to drive through or enter the area.  Kaitong spokesperson did not know if there had been any injuries.

The presence of foreign nationals, particularly Vietnamese and Chinese are a major issue with the supporters of the FPDGL.  Kaitong stated "The government brings Vietnamese and Chinese into Laos.  The LPDR needs to evacuate all those Vietnamese and Chinese out of Laos immediately."

The FPDGL demands that the LPDR government immediately stop cutting the forest, selling the natural resources to other countries, and to allow the people to have a democratic government governed by the people of Laos

Kaitong stated that all the bomb explosions in the past were planned and done by the FPDGL.  He said, "We have already told you that if you still don't allow us citizens of Laos to have the authority and freedom we want and still not evacuate all the Vietnamese out of the land of Laos, we will continue setting more bombs."

In the interviews Kaitong made no mention of the two men, Bunlot Senkeo and Thao Khosavane, who where arrested September 4, 2003 by Lao authorities on charges of  "sabotaging national security" and "disturbing public order" in relation to the bombings in Vientiane.
