Zoua Yang's Prayer
My Lord, we were not willing to cooperate with one another so now we are suffering.
I beg you to please look after us and guide us toward the future.
And please don't let us make anymore of this mistake again, my Lord.
We confess our sins to you.
My Lord, we have been imprisoned, chased and hunted down by the communist Lao.
We have made every effort to get here.
Now that we are here, we disrespect each other.
We competed against one another for dignitary status.
Despite the difficulties, we are not willing to stand down from our dignitary status.
My Lord, if you don't love us the world will never love us.
My Lord, if we don't respect you the world will never respect us.
To this day we survive on the water you've given us.
We can easily get it from the rivers, or you giving to us from the sky.
You've created the forest as a shield to protect us but we took it for granted
that's why we are facing such endless hardships.
Please love us, my Lord.
Please forgive us my Lord.
Please love each and everyone of us starting this day forth.
You are the conquest of heaven and earth,
You are the conquest of our body and soul.
You truly love us so much but we do not know how to love ourselves.
That's why we are being stepped on by other people.
This is a lesson for us to learn but we ignore to accept it.
My Lord, if you don't help us we will certainly be dead.
My Lord, please look after us and forgive us,
and love us all my Lord.
